Home life

I went to my last photography class last night.  I really learned a lot and am so glad that I took it.  I think a lot of it came with me trying each week to use the applications and ideas that were taught and doing all the assignments.  My teacher, Randy, had some very complimentary things to say about my work and he really encouraged me to keep it up.  So, I think I will give John a little break from my evening classes (it was 10 weeks total) and then maybe in the spring or summer look into taking a Photoshop editing class.

This coming Sunday is Finn's 3rd birthday so we have been having fun getting ready for that. Yesterday he took cupcakes to school for his school birthday party..  He helped me make them Monday and with his request they had pink frosting.  I did sprinkle some dinosaurs on the top to make them a little bit boyish.  We have also ordered him his big boy bed that should be delivered next week.  At some point over the next month we will paint his room a darker blue and do away with the baby blue. (Finn wants us to paint it pink but I told him that would not match the rug.)  Things are a changing around here!

Eloise is rolling all over the place now and is very close to sitting up.  She has a great little personality.  She is always happy and smiling at anyone who will pay her some attention.  I have also noticed she likes to stick her tongue out a lot.  Here is one of my last picture assignments.  It is a self portrait of myself and my baby girl...
