Practice makes not blurry
I have been taking lots of pics around the house practicing my settings. What I tend to do is take a picture with too slow of a shutter speed and it comes out blurry. I also have so many more pictures of Eloise than Finn because he is constantly moving and I haven't quit figured out how to track his movement yet. It is raining and I am under the weather but I hope to get to a park later this week and capture Finn in his element. We haven't gone over lighting in the class but I have figured out that if I put the kids by a window the natural light does great things for the picture. The 1st two pictures I changed to b&w once they were in Photoshop Elements.

These are so cute! I love that little cap Eloise is wearing. :D
Have you kicked up your ISO a little? It looks like you've got some good light, here... so that might give you a little more.
THOSE PICTURES ARE DARLING!!!!!!!
Okay...you are learning so much in that class b/c these are awesome pictures. you are inspiring me to take a class...however, until lauren margaret is a little older i'm not sure i can do it right now...where are you taking it? i wonder where i could find a class here other than smu?? i do love taking pictures...i'm just not very good at it!
